Antigua & Barbuda – Fine Dining

East
“East is one of Antigua’s best restaurants – open for dinner only, attracting guests from all over the island, including those on honeymoon in Antigua. The fuchsia and dark wood interior has a sexy feel. The restaurant is entered via tall Indonesian carved doors. Japanese, Thai, and Indonesian dishes all appear on the menu, with sushi, sashimi and Balinese specialties among the main draws. Please note those with young children under the age of 10 are asked to come earlier, from 6:00 to 7:00 pm. This retains the sophisticated spirit that makes East particular popular with couples.” – Carlisle-bay.com

“Sheer Rocks is a romantic, relaxed and stylish hangout. With its unique tapas menus, day beds, plunge pool and stunning panoramic sea views, the scenic restaurant is a haven for guests to enjoy long lunches and refreshing sunset aperitifs. At night it is transformed into a romantically cool and stylish retreat for dinner, its wooden pavilions perched over flood lit rocks with the waves cresting gently below. Carmichael's
“Carmichaels one of Antigua’s newest restaurants and is located at Sugar Ridge. The restaurant sits on top of the ridge overlooking the whole of Jolly Harbour Marina and the palm fringed beaches out towards the neighbouring islands of Nevis, St Kitts and Redonda on the horizon. To say that the sunsets from here are sensational is an understatement. There’s a swimming pool next to Carmichaels Bar so that guests can have the benefit of the fabulous views throughout the day, and can dip and dine and spend hours enjoying the unique location.
The Carmichael kitchen team is headed up by Head Chef Matt Westwood with separate menus for lunch and dinner, utilizing the freshest ingredients available the local farmers and fishermen each day. Dishes such as Chicken Breast stuffed with jerk spices, pancetta, zucchini, puree of sweet potatoes & deep fried sage and Cajun seasoned Mahi Fillet with confit tomato, bok choy, black olives and sauté potatoes, quickly tempt the palate. ” – Searchantigua.com
